History of fraternities at UC Davis Since 1923, social fraternities and sororities have been a part of UC Davis. These organizations provide an experience that enhances students' lives through academic, social, educational, ledaership, and community service activities. Davis contains many national and local fraternities with very different backgrounds and histories.
